Alexander Tadesse

Was born, and grew up in Addis Ababa Ethiopia. I followed my art passion after high school and
joined Addis Ababa University (ALLE) School of fine arts and design and obtained a certificate in
fine art. Later I joined the Entoto Poly Technique College of fine arts, to attain a diploma
specialized in painting. Receiving formal training gave me the techniques and academic skills
that I needed to showcase my perspective as an artist. I experiment with different art forms such
as painting, graphic design and cartoon animation. I have worked for Tamesol Communication
as a storyboard and background artist in a project named “Abeba and Abebe “, which is an
animation film designed to teach children, and another animation film for UNICEF titled ‘ handwashing day’. In addition, I have participated in group exhibitions at the Alliance-Ethio Francais
